Supply Chain Systems & Process Manager – Outbound

Travel: Required to distribution centers and vendor sites
An established retail distribution organization is seeking a Supply Chain Systems & Process Manager – Outbound to lead the development and optimization of systems and processes that support outbound logistics and distribution operations. This role works cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and IT to drive efficiency and ensure systems capabilities meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to maximize system-driven productivity

Work closely with IT to define, validate, and implement system requirements
-
Maintain and execute the roadmap for supply chain systems, including enhancements and upgrades
-
Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of distribution and transportation systems
-
Support the development and implementation of SOPs for inbound and outbound logistics
-
Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams to align on strategy and execution
-
Ensure effective change management practices for adoption of new tools and workflows
-
Support data accuracy through understanding of master data principles
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

4+ years in supply chain, operations, or engineering, with a focus on process improvement
-
Proven track record in large, complex retail or distribution environments
-
Experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management and Oracle Transportation Management systems

Strong understanding of distribution and transportation system functionality
-
Skilled in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing change
-
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Other Requirements:

Willingness to provide after-hours/on-call support, including weekends
-
Must adhere to onsite work expectations with flexibility for travel

Must be able to meet basic physical requirements related to vision and hearing
