Internal Audit Manager
The Internal Audit Manager will provide independent assurance services to management and the Board of Directors regarding the effectiveness of the company's governance, risk management, and internal control processes. This role will focus on the Sales Operations and Financial Advisor Services business areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks, and evaluate the quality of governance practices.
- Lead audit teams to conduct fieldwork, analyze findings, and prepare audit reports.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Identify and assess emerging risks and trends that could impact the company's operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the internal audit function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in internal audit, risk management, or controls.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience with sales operations and/or Financial Advisor Services business areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agile methodologies and data analytics.
- A track record of developing and driving innovation and efficiencies.
