Director Software Engineering
I'm seeking a Director of Software Engineering for a full-time position with a stable and growing company in the Greater Philadelphia area. The position is offering a hybrid schedule of working from home and in the office, with the opportunity to work directly with the executive leadership team. Interested candidates should have the following experience.
- A strong technical background with significant experience in Java software development, architecture and product development.
- People management, managing development teams both on-shore and off-shore, providing mentorship, vision, motivation and technical strategy.
- Designing and delivering robust, high-volume, highly available products for use in customer-facing applications.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms and basic understanding of scalability, security, server-less architecture and cost control
- Excellent communication and presentations skills with the ability to command control of the audience.
- Software engineering background with Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GO, Kafka, and related technologies.
- Negotiating with vendors and working in onsite/ offshore development model.
