Job Details:
Director of Data Science
This is a full time position due to growth. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset in order to build a data science team from the ground up and impact management's decisions.
-Lead, grow, and manage a team.
-Lead the product and data science function and provide business insights by implementing statistical methodologies, data reporting, and data collection.
-Perform data mining and predictive modeling, develop machine learning tools, implement algorithms, and provide solutions to business problems.
-Identify data patterns and trends, translate insights into recommendations and communicate findings to leadership.
-Advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics Computer Science or related field.
-Experience in data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, IoT (internet of things), and algorithm/model creation required.
-Leadership experience leading a team and managing projects.
-Proficiency in R, Python, Hadoop, NOSQL, and similar big data tools.
-Experience with data visualization, data manipulation, data cleansing and statistical programming.
