Tax Planning Manager
Role:
As a Tax Planning Manager, this person will report to a VP of Tax and be responsible for Federal and International tax planning, tax research, due diligence, lead and manage tax projects, as well as work through the organization's acquisitions and restructurings from a tax perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the VP of Tax with tax planning, tax research, acquisitions, and due diligence processes
- Lead and Manage global tax planning projects; lead tax strategies
- Prepare tax provisions for international subsidiaries
- Manage and lead tax implication models
- Serve as a lead on mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings from a tax perspective
- Perform technical tax research, documentation, and implement as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree is highly preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive tax experience within the BIG4 or a Fortune 1000 organization
- Prior experience with both International and federal tax planning is key
- Prior experience managing a team of tax professionals is required
- CPA is highly preferred
- Prior experience with OneSource is a plus
Working Conditions:
This will be a hybrid working situation with work from home capabilities. This position can be a remote position. However, this position will require in office presence from time to time for deadlines, meetings, and "busy seasons". Therefore, a local candidate would be ideal for this role. However, we would consider someone that is not local but open to travel to the office as needed.
