A well known and growing construction company is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. They are targeting candidates with at least 7 years of experience working in the construction industry. PHR or SHRM desired as well as previous experience with JD Edwards. Strong leadership skills required.
- Development of HR planning and strategy
- Implementation of HR policies and initiatives
- Oversight of talent acquisition process
- Experience with union and non-union employees
- Delegation of pre-hire processes
- Manage annual merit review
- Work closely with benefits broker
- Recommend benefit changes
- Compliance with employment laws
- Budget management
- Sound knowledge of business operations and strategy
PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
