Hedge Fund Accountant
50-65K and Bonus
Role:
As a Hedge Fund Accountant, you'll be responsible for day to day accounting for a portfolio of hedge funds including reconciliations, accruals, valuations, NAV, computations, allocations, etc. You'll be supporting a Hedge Fund Accounting Manager as well as several peers to help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of Hedge Funds
- Reconciling of cash and positions on a daily basis; work with broker
- Calculate Net Asset Values (NAV)
- Support month end, balance sheet, income statement, performance, etc.
- Preparing financial statements on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Work with outside vendors for auditing and tax preparation
Qualifications:
- BS Degree is required
- 2+ plus years of previous Hedge Fund Accounting experience.
- A strong background understanding complex reconciliations and accruals
- Prior experience with Geneva or Investier is preferred
