Senior Medical Writer – Associate Medical Director
Medical Communications- Healthcare Communications- Promotional Medical Education- Publications- Publication Planning
An excellent Medical Communications company is actively in search of a Senior Medical Writer or Associate Medical Director. This is a position for individuals who have at least three or more years of medical writing experience as a staff member within a medical communications company (promotional medical education, publications/pub planning or medical affairs).

- Ability to work from home- remote based
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Medical Writing/Content Development: Sample projects include: slide decks & scripts for presentation at medical meetings/programs, advisory board materials, interactive eLearning modules, posters, promotional monographs, pitch decks, slide presentations, manuscripts, scientific posters, abstracts, journal articles etc.).
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills are essential
- Excellent time management & multitasking
- Ability to work with internal staff & teams (program management, account management, etc.), clients & KOL’s to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
- Understanding of LMR submission process, compliance requirements, reporting and documentation
- Support pre-launch and post-launch products through multiple means; i.e. advisory boards, business development/pitches, conference reports, competitive intelligence, disease state awareness, etc.
Qualifications:
- PhD, PharmD, advanced degree
- Three (3) or more years of Medical Writing experience in a healthcare communications, promotional medical education, medical communications company setting is required
- Oncology or Immunology medical writing therapeutic experience
- Understanding of AMA guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Microsoft proficient (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software)
- Ability to work both independent and as a team member
