PROJECT ARCHITECT
Growing architecture firm in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley is seeking an experienced Project Architect for education, institutional, municipal, historic preservation and commercial projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Ability to work independently and with small teams
Manage all aspects of a project from design and documentation coordination with consultants to Construction Administration
Provide final review and approvals of code analysis, material selections, and specifications
Work with clients, engineers and consultants
Must be able to stay within the scope of the job and constructively manage client requested changes
A commitment to Quality and Design in all things is essential
Key Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity and knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
Significant experience with design, documentation and the construction administration process
Ability to use sound and independent judgment
Advanced skills in AutoCAD
