Job Details:
Project Manager - Engineer
- Provide support to sales engineers, consulting engineers, contractors, or technical buyers for system and product selection, design, and pricing during the design and fulfillment stages.
- Develops preliminary and/or final submittals as required for timely production release and delivery of equipment.
- Responsible for the take-off, optimization/validation of the equipment including selection of size, configuration, voltage, options, etc. of the HVAC equipment by reviewing the plans and specifications.
- Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters, and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving service applications.
- Accountable for daily and weekly coordination of resources to ensure projects are prioritized properly to meet customer expectations and office metrics.
- Required to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the HVAC Industry
- Experience working effectively with and leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality projects on tight schedules.
- Strong and effective decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, Construction Management, preferred.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to allocate resources, such as manpower, equipment, and materials, as needed.
- Experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Web-enabled applications, and intermediate-level experience with Excel.
