Industrial Maintenance Manager – Lancaster PA Area
A leading food manufacturer in the Lancaster PA area has an immediate need a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate the day to day plant maintenance activities. Responsibilities will include the following:
- Managing the site-wide maintenance function, including packaging, process and mechanical.
- Directing daily maintenance operations, minimizing operating costs, implementing key performance indicators & measurements to optimize maintenance & operating efficiencies.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance re: health & safety and environmental standards.
- Improving reliability of critical production lines & ensuring machinery downtimes are reduced.
- Lead the performance development of the shift maintenance including ownership, empowerment and accountability.
- Strategic development of the maintenance department to a world-class level, driving change in preventive, predictive maintenance.
- Focus on the development of the maintenance team to execute the technical systems associated with predictive, preventative maintenance, process control and OEE/downtime data collection and interpretation.
- Actively participates in the daily production meeting as a key component of the operating team.
- Monitors team performance seeking opportunities to make continuous performance improvements.
- Develop personnel skills necessary for succession planning. Needs to demonstrate ability to fill in for the Maintenance Manager as needed.
Qualified candidates must possess at least 7-10 years of supervisory experience; strong mechanical and electrical skills; background in a high-speed manufacturing work environment; preventative maintenance skills.
