Job Details:
My client is a Commercial HVAC and Mechanical Contractor in the Pinelands. They are seeking a Service Operations Manager to pick up and run the show.
The Director of Service Operations is ultimately responsible for all service department functions, including talent development, operational execution to ensure continued business growth, maximizing efficiency, and resources utilization through continual process improvements of the operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and management support to the Service Department
- Ensure department is meeting annual sales and margin goals
- Set strategic goals related to improving department performance and efficiency, aligned with OPP
- Oversee recruiting and training efforts to meet department needs
- Develop highly motivated and effective teams
- Collaborate and communicate with company executives to develop and deliver on the One Page Plan (OPP), budgets and business plans
- Conduct manager performance reviews
- Prepare business plans, budgets and schedules
- Continual analysis of department operations looking for areas of improvement and provide managers the resources they need
