Tax Director - Advisory

Role:
A Large accounting consulting firm located in Philadelphia is searching for a 10+ year BIG4 Manager or Senior Manager. This position reports to the Executive Level and is responsible for working with privately held clients on complicated tax and accounting issues, compliance, growth strategies, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Manager, supervise and review individual, C corporation, S corporation and partnership engagements
- Build, develop, and leverage relationships in order to grow the Advisory business
- Identify, target, contact prospective clients to provide customized tax advisory services
- Working closely with your team and other members of the tax team to identify and research the client's complex tax issues
- Providing support and leverage to team members and others on engagements
- Be the key contact for complicated tax and accounting issues, even negotiate terms/conditions
- Focusing on engagement management and operational excellence
- Drive strategy and educate the impact, benefits, and cost efficiencies of those strategies
- Supervise managers, seniors, & staff tax accountants
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Masters preferred
10+ years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting and/or professional services firm
Current CPA is required.
