Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager (PE) – MEP Consulting

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Mechanical Engineer who enjoys technical leadership, client interaction, and developing high-performing teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead HVAC and mechanical system design for commercial, healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, and mixed-use projects.
- Manage projects from proposal through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Serve as the primary client contact and lead project meetings.
- Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and provide construction administration support.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers through technical guidance and quality reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience within an MEP consulting environment.
- Proven project management experience overseeing multiple building projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
- Passion for mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
