R&D ENGINEERING MANAGER - GLASS TO $105K
An industry leader based in the South Jersey region is seeking an R&D Engineering Manager with a BS Degree in a technical field, and experience in the glass forming/ manufacturing industry. This is an urgent need!
Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensuring that current glass forming/ manufacturing process are efficient and cost effective.
- Developing new production processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Implementing process improvements throughout the plant.
- Leading and overseeing plant engineering projects.
- Managing department personnel (engineers, technicians).
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- BS Degree in a scientific / technical field, such as Ceramics Engineering, Glass Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, etc.
- At least 4 years of engineering experience in a leadership/ management role.
- A background in the glass industry. Must know glass forming/ glass production processes.
- Very strong communications skills (written & verbal) and management skills
