You’ll work directly with experienced accounting leaders and cross-functional teams (property management, asset management, development) while developing skills that set you up for promotion into senior roles.
What You’ll Do
You won’t be stuck doing the same task every day—this role gives you broad exposure across accounting, operations, and real estate finance:
- Own key parts of the monthly close process across multiple entities
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure clean, accurate financials
- Analyze and prepare journal entries (accruals, prepaids, intercompany, etc.)
- Work on real estate-specific accounting like CAM reconciliations, tax billbacks, and tenant true-ups
- Partner with teams to track CapEx projects and budgets
- Review and code invoices across a large property portfolio
- Get hands-on experience with multi-state tax filings and expanding jurisdictions
- Contribute to investor reporting packages and financial insights
- Support audits and tax preparation

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (GPA 3.0+)
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, real estate highly preferred
- CPA (or actively pursuing) is a big plus
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Organized, curious, and eager to take initiative
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- MRI, AppFolio, Yardi or similar systems exposure
- Experience with multi-entity accounting
