Senior Environmental Project Manager — New Hampshire

This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting a wide range of projects related to site development, property transactions, and environmental management.

This position is well-suited for an experienced professional looking to expand their technical expertise, take ownership of projects, and grow into a leadership role. You’ll work closely with senior team members while building client relationships and contributing to complex project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from proposal through completion, including scope, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
  • Coordinate and delegate work to junior and mid-level staff while providing technical oversight
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional development
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on technical and regulatory matters
  • Monitor project financials, including budgets, invoicing, and overall performance
  • Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, and scheduling challenges
  • Support broader business objectives and contribute to team planning initiatives
  • Participate in technical review processes as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Approximately 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a similar industry
  • Professional licensure (PE or PG), or progression toward licensure (e.g., FE/EIT)
  • Familiarity with state-level environmental regulations is preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Ability to perform occasional field work, including physical tasks as required
