Senior Fixed Asset Accountant
Role:
As a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant, this person will be reporting to a Controller and assisting with fixed asset accounting, auditing, as well capital project accounting. This role is not just your day-to-day accounting position rather it exposed you to a global business, large capital projects, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, etc. This also will help expand your skill set by exposing you to SOX, all types of internal audits, revenue, expenses, etc. This is a highly visible opening that will project upward mobility!
Responsibilities:
- Assist Controller with Fixed Asset accounting for large capital projects
- Audit projects for internal controls, sox controls, revenue, etc.
- Assist with balance sheet and income statement
- Perform journal entries, reconciliations, asset capitalizations, etc.
- Provide financials to operations, engineering, and business leaders in order to help with decision making
- Understand and assist with project contracts from an accounting and finance standpoint
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required. Masters or MBA is a plus
- 3+ years of public accounting and/or fortune 1000 corporate accounting
- Ability to speak with all levels and types of professionals internal and externally
- Prior Excel and ERP skills are a must
