Senior Electrical Controls Engineer – Industrial Automation

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop PLC and HMI applications for complex SCADA systems
  • Lead control system commissioning, including instrumentation and motor controls
  • Implement and troubleshoot industrial communication networks (fiber, radio telemetry, broadband)
  • Own project documentation and technical deliverables from start to finish
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout design, build, and ongoing support

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, GE, or similar)
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms (FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Cimplicity, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with both technical teams and end users
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (preferred, not required)

Travel

  • ~25% overnight travel within the Midwest
