Assistant Superintendent / Senior PM (Union)
Philadelphia, PA (onsite daily)
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Superintendent with a strong field construction background to support façade work and corporate/headquarters projects throughout the Philadelphia area. This role is ideal for a union trades professional looking to step into a leadership role while remaining active in the field.
This is not a desk-based role — we need someone who can run point onsite, oversee subcontractors, and keep projects on track.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day field operations across façade installations, exterior upgrades, and corporate facility projects
Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and vendors onsite
Ensure work is performed safely, on time, and in accordance with project plans
Assist with scheduling, site logistics, and material coordination
Conduct site walks, track progress, and provide updates to project management
Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce job site safety standards
Troubleshoot field issues and keep projects moving efficiently
Qualifications
Union construction background required (IBEW or similar preferred)
3+ years of field experience in commercial construction or telecom infrastructure
Experience overseeing subcontractors or vendors onsite
Experience with façade work, exterior construction, or commercial fit-outs is a strong plus
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, safety, and scheduling
OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
