Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) to lead mechanical system design and support multidisciplinary project teams. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage projects from concept through construction. Mechanical engineers commonly design building systems, perform calculations, and develop construction documents while coordinating with architects and other engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations and mechanical system design in accordance with codes and standards
- Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and equipment selections
- Coordinate designs with project managers and multidisciplinary teams
- Lead and mentor designers and junior engineers
- Review drawings for coordination, quality assurance, and code compliance
- Participate in client meetings and project planning
- Manage schedules, budgets, and discipline design efforts
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Proficiency in Revit and engineering modeling tools
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
