Electrical Design Engineer – MEP
MEP- Electrical Engineering- Electrical Design- MEP Engineering
A growing MEP engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support commercial, institutional and academic projects. Opening is available for mid-to-senior level engineers (EIT and/or PE) with salary commensurate with experience.
- Design power distribution, lighting/controls, and fire alarm systems
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and creating single-line diagrams
- Produce construction documents, specs, and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, and local codes
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary MEP teams
- Support construction administration (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings)
Requirements:
- BSEE required
- Approximately five (5) to ten (10) or more years of electrical MEP design experience
- EIT required, PE or sitting for PE desired
- Experience with both AutoCAD and Revit to prepare drawings & construction documents
- Strong communication and documentation skills
