PROJECT ARCHITECT
Our esteemed client, a leading architecture & engineering firm, is currently seeking a Project Architect with 7-10+ years of experience in the development of architectural solutions for small to large scale commercial and institutional projects. This full-time position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively as either a team leader or a team member in the development of design and documentation for both new construction and renovation projects.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with client interactions/coordination, working and communicating with consultants, managing projects through construction completion and working both collaboratively and independently. The ideal candidate should possess strong design and planning skills, have a thorough understanding of construction documents, be knowledgeable of State of Illinois Building Codes and have experience with the design of projects within existing buildings.
Requirements:
Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
Registered in the State of Illinois.
Minimum 7-10 years of professional architecture experience, including design, documentation and construction administration experience.
Working knowledge of state and local building codes and accessibility requirements.
Extensive skills in the use of AutoCAD is required, experience with Revit is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Highly professional demeanor.
Excellent graphic skills.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written, including fluency in the English language.
Available for occasional travel for out-of-state projects.
Candidates must have U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
SALARY: $80-120K
