What You’ll Do
- Handle property level portfolio accounting; review monthly GL activity and reconciliations
- Own fixed assets within the ERP (capitalization, depreciation, roll-forwards)
- Manage general ledger accounting and identify process improvement opportunities
- Manage the monthly close process and meet Controller deadlines
- Serve as a primary liaison for auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Partner with property management on budget vs. actual analysis and variance explanations
- Support treasury, cash management, and banking activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Act as a go-to resource for real estate accounting matters
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of real estate accounting experience (multi-property preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Yardi, MRI, Entrata, or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting and real estate concepts
- Comfortable juggling multiple properties in a fast-paced environment

- Exposure to taxes, auditors, and or value-add initiatives
