Head of Fund Accounting Governance
We are seeking a Head of Fund Accounting Governance to serve as a senior, standalone authority on fund accounting policy and governance. This role is highly consultative, strategic, and focused on managing complex accounting matters while ensuring firm-wide compliance and risk mitigation.

Serve as the firm’s primary authority on fund accounting policy and governance

Operate in a standalone, consultative role

Own and maintain the fund accounting policy “rule book,” including drafting, updating, and interpretation

Address complex and non-routine accounting issues across investment vehicles and fund structures
-
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards
-
Partner with investment management, finance, audit, and compliance teams on technical accounting matters
-
Provide strategic guidance on accounting implications of transactions and new initiatives
-
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate accounting and operational risk
-
Apply deep investment management and fund accounting technical expertise
-
CPA required with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive best practices
