Head of Internal Communications & Change Management,

My client is looking to expand their team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Offer internal change and communications counsel and strategic support to Messer Americas Leaders
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team members and their teams to develop and implement internal communications strategies and programs; create and deliver plans that drive employees’ understanding of company priorities and key initiatives through engagement and alignment with the vision and business strategy for the Americas.
  • Working together with the Americas HR team, oversee the development and maintenance of an appropriate level of internal and leadership communications capability across Messer Americas 
  • Ensure an appropriate mix of internal communications channels to ensure timely communication of company news and information, that all employees have Line of Sight to the organization’s Vision and priorities -- and that they understand how their roles contribute to delivering Linde’s business goals in the region. Partnership Building & Collaboration
  • Serves as a communications expert and strategic communications counsellor to business leaders regarding business plans and activities that impact employees and/or require significant organizational change (e.g. organizational restructuring, M&A, new work processes, corporate programs, etc.)
  • Builds effective partnerships and relationships across the region in order to identify opportunities and methods that will build and continuously improve employee engagement.
  • Regularly aligns with Corporate / Global Internal Communications to exchange news and information impacting business goals and messaging and to actively exchange knowledge on best practices.
  • Actively enables line managers to deliver employee engagement activities, effectively making the connection between employee engagement, business performance and results

Qualified candidates should have a background in the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Communications, Journalism or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in a dynamic corporate environment.
