Job Details:
Defense Litigation Paralegal - NYC - $75-90k
Growing law firm in NYC is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its team! A hybrid work schedule is available
Qualified candidate will have 4-7+ years of prior Defense Litigation Paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
Responsibilities will include:
• Drafting legal documents and memoranda including pleadings, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, correspondence and discovery motions
• Organizing, charting and processing incoming records and invoices
• Manage a large caseload and working with several attorneys within the firm
• Reviewing documents in preparation for disclosure
• Assist with preparing attorneys for mediation and trial.
Experience with the Microsoft suite, e-filing, pdfDocs, and document management software experience is required.
A Paralegal Certificate and/or a bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
