Lateral Associate (AM Law 100) - Houston, TX

A leading AM Law 100 firm with over 1,500 attorneys across 20+ offices, specializing in high-stakes litigation, corporate transactions, and regulatory matters.
Role:
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters for a diverse client base, including Fortune 500 companies, startups, and individuals. Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Provide high-quality legal counsel on a wide range of matters, including corporate transactions, litigation disputes, regulatory compliance, intellectual property issues, etc.
- Case/Matter Management: Manage cases or transactions from inception to resolution, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and advising clients on strategy.
- Business Development: Build and maintain client relationships, contribute to the firm’s growth by developing new business opportunities, and, where applicable, leverage an existing book of business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver seamless client service, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to team-oriented solutions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Bar Admission.
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, or equivalent setting.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Hybrid
- Base Salary: $250,000–$450,000+, commensurate with experience.
- Additional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus.
