Sr. I&C Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead complex automation and process control projects from concept through commissioning. You will design, implement, and oversee instrumentation and control systems, manage projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality, budget, and schedule goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, testing, and commissioning of PLC/DCS systems, instrumentation, and control networks.
- Perform calculations for I/O sizing, network and control cable specifications, and control panel design.
- Review and validate engineering deliverables, vendor drawings, and fabrication submittals.
- Prepare material takeoffs, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and subject matter expertise to engineering teams.
- Support on-site startup, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Coordinate across disciplines, vendors, and clients to ensure project success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, EPLAN, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, PLC/DCS systems, ISA standards, and NEC code.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and work independently.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
