Construction Superintendent – NYC
Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for interior commercial construction projects in the NYC metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site personnel
- Review and verify accuracy of architectural plans and field conditions
- Coordinate with Project Manager on schedule planning and logistics
- Organize weekly meetings with subs, vendors, and design team
- Ensure timely delivery and secure storage of materials
- Submit daily reports; escalate issues impacting schedule or budget
- Enforce safety protocols, site regulations, and quality standards
- Resolve site personnel issues and labor disputes
- Obtain final punch list sign-off from clients/architects
Requirements:
- NYC Superintendent’s License (Required)
- OSHA 30 and SST Card (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in Manhattan construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or equivalent field experience
- Strong blueprint reading and coordination skills
- Resident of the NYC Metro area
