Construction Manager/Construction Inspector
Expanding Architectural-Engineering services firm is seeking a Construction Manager or Inspector to assist with quality assurance work on federal building projects located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. A variety of building types are included, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction work is completed in accordance with approved plans and specifications. All projects maintain their own Quality Assurance plans which require verification of conformance. This position requires a minimum of three years of prior experience. Duties include preparing daily reports, review and interpretation of contract drawings, preparation of quality assurance reports, conducting necessary meetings, and inspections for plans conformance.
Position requirements include:
- B.S. degree preferred
- Knowledge of federal construction standards preferred
- OSHA 30 or Red Cross First Aid Certification preferred
- Possesses a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently
