Job Details:
Sr. Estimator - Heavy Highway - Civil Construction
The Estimator plans, directs, and coordinates project activities to ensure goals of project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, a team player, and a creative problem solver.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- Five years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction relevant to this region
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Proficient computer skills including internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and specialized project software
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or relevant field from an accredited four-year college or university
- Ten years of experience in Heavy Civil Constriction relevant to this region
- Certified PE
- OSHA and/or other applicable safety certifications and training
