Application Engineer - Project Engineer - Sales Engineer
Looking for multiple engineers or construction related candidates who are interested in the HVAC industry working as an application engineer / Project Engineer to work directly with the Sales and Estimating teams. This position is very technical and requires excellent communication skills as you will work directly with customers and WILL NOT include design work!
Similar Responsibilities:
- Review bidding documents including mechanical plans, specification, contract documents.
- Handle HVAC equipment selection and pricing, technical writing of proposal, and developing cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding.
- Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mechanical contractors for clarification for sales engineers, application engineers and project administrators.
- Experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or willing to learn.
- Familiar with HVAC Systems, air distribution products, and/or Temperature control
- Prepares proposal and pricing breakdowns while evaluating equipment savings/costs.
- Assembles bid files, including all development information, in customer relationship management (CRM) system to prepare estimate.
- Responsible for the cost estimation of HVAC or Air Distribution equipment and systems related to assigned bid opportunities.
- Position is geared towards a sales career
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
