Job Details:
Project Engineer- Heavy Civil Construction
A premier heavy civil construction company is actively seeking to add a Project Engineer to the staff for a full-time permanent staff role, competitive compensation package, PTO, 401k match and more.
Qualifications
- ~ Four (4) or more years of heavy civil construction experience utilizing technical skills to see a project through
- Understands means and methods for heavy civil construction projects: (i.e., highways, roads, bridges, sitework, industrial buildings, wastewater facilities, water treatment plants, foundations, marine construction)
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) a plus
- Understands project cost controls, change order management, cost reporting, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, etc.
- HCSS Heavy Construction Software experience
- Bluebeam software experience
- Computer proficient
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must possess effective communication skills written, electronic and verbal
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and related programs
