Senior Auditor - One of the top firm's in the Philadelphia area!
Role:
As the Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing financial statements and internal controls of a company or organization. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting and managing audit engagements for various clients, including planning, executing, and completing the audit process.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Assessing internal controls and identifying areas of improvement to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
- Providing expertise and guidance on technical accounting issues and complex transactions.
- Collaborating with clients and colleagues to effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and best practices.
- Leading and mentoring junior team members, providing necessary training and guidance.
- Monitoring and adhering to project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion of audits.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and best audit practices, applying them to enhance audit processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
- Proven experience in auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Compensation:
$80-95k + bonus
