Director of Network and Support Systems
A full time position is open for a Director of Network and Support Systems for stable, non profit. The successful will have ability to manage a team of 10 - 15 and similar experience to the following:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in directing and managing diverse teams projects and tasks ensuring success of multiple competing projects/tasks in a customer focused shared governance environment.
Professional collaboration, communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
Knowledgeable on enterprise level technology and methodology including relevant certifications including Cisco and Microsoft technologies.
Experience in directing and managing multiple projects/tasks, including long-term planning.
Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior
Work Experience:
Experience as a network architect, data center engineer, or similar role.
Experience as a manager/supervisor of medium to large voice and data networks, server administrators, security and technology support teams.
Experience in directing and project management of multiple competing priorities including long-term planning and business continuity..
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, business, or closely related field. Relevant work experience or applicable certificates may substitute for formal education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Increasingly responsible supervisory experience of technology infrastructure, network architecture and supporting systems and staff management for a university/higher education organization.
