Tax Manager

A prominent fiduciary services organization is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax documentation and handle fiduciary income tax filings for trusts.
Qualified Candidates will have the following experience:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build collaborative relationships with Trust Administrators, Accountants, and Legal Counsel.
- Address complex tax issues, including capital gains treatment and income allocation.
- Prepare and review fiduciary tax returns and necessary state forms.
- Streamline processes for accurate and timely tax return submissions.
- Provide mentorship and training on trust taxation to team members.
- Conduct research and create tax memorandums to support positions taken.
- Handle extensions and estimated tax payments for returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
- Experience in taxation, with a focus on trust-related taxation preferred.
- Familiarity with directed trust tax matters and public accounting is a plus.
- CPA license is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software (CCH Axcess Tax, etc.) is essential.
