Audit Associate - One of the top firm's in the Philadelphia area!
Role:
As an Audit Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing financial statements and internal controls of a company or organization. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting and managing audit engagements for various clients, including planning, executing, and completing the audit process.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Assessing internal controls and identifying areas of improvement to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
- Providing expertise and guidance on technical accounting issues and complex transactions.
- Collaborating with clients and colleagues to effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or working towards CPA certification is preferred.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
Compensation:
$70-85k + bonus
