Senior Civil Project Manager
Hybrid Schedule
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (Professional Engineer) to join our expanding Civil Engineering Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead projects ranging from residential and commercial developments to industrial, government, and recreational facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on design leadership, assisting in the preparation of site design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Perform stormwater management and drainage calculations, and prepare reports for regulatory reviews.
- Conduct site visits for analysis, data collection, monitoring, and testing of septic and stormwater systems.
- Interface with clients, community officials, and consultants, and represent the firm in presenting site plans to local regulatory boards and commissions.
- Create a positive learning environment for supervised employees, helping them develop and advance in their careers.
- Ensure successful project completion while maintaining client relationships and meeting regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in site design.
- At least 4 years of experience in a supervisory role, managing project teams.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present and advocate for projects before regulators and the public.
- Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Experience with a variety of land use projects.
