Senior Accountant
Remote in Raleigh
Our client is a healthcare company with a focus on providing the best medical care services to their clients and patients. They're expanding, growing rapidly, and committed to hiring the best talent to join their team.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP
- Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Manage the month-end close process and balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and approve journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop budgets and forecasts
- Support external audits and develop relationships with auditors
- Provide analysis and insights into financial data to inform business decisions
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff
