Position Overview: The Sr. Maintenance Manager will oversee the engineering operations of our plant, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, goals, and initiatives to support plant operations and continuous improvement.

Maintenance & Reliability:
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of plant equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

Project Management:
- Manage engineering projects from conception through completion, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety and enforce best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Technical Support:
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and services.

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance plant efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.
- Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional engineering license preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in plant engineering, with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams and projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Expertise in plant maintenance, reliability engineering, and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
