Manager of IP Practice Management - Santa Monica, CA

Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Intellectual Property practice group consisting of close to 100 attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to grow the Intellectual Property practice group, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the practice group, including overseeing budgeting, financial management, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Working closely with partners and attorneys to ensure that client matters are being handled in a timely and efficient manner, and that client expectations are being met.
- Providing guidance and support to attorneys and staff within the practice group, including mentoring and coaching to help develop their skills and capabilities.
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics for the practice group, and identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborating with firm leadership on firm-wide initiatives and projects that impact the Intellectual Property practice group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Advanced Degrees a plus.
- 5+ years of strong experience in Intellectual Property law, as well as experience in practice management and business development within a law firm setting.
Compensation:
$180-220k + bonus
