CIVIL ENGINEER
LAND DEVELOPMENT -STORMWATER- SEWER- TRANSPORTATION- MUNICIPAL
An excellent Civil Engineering firm based in the local Dallas/Fort Worth areas is actively seeking an EIT or PE with civil land development experience. Civil Engineers with an EIT who are tracking towards obtaining PE or active Texas PE certification a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.
Applicants will have approximately four (4) or more years’ experience in civil land development projects providing engineering and design expertise for projects relating to commercial, municipal, residential, roadway design (water, sewer, streets, drainage, earthwork, site layout, utility design, and grading).
- Manage multiple projects to design various types of developments
- Manage design teams to develop construction documents for the successful completion of projects
- Develop strong relationships with clients by providing quality product and service to ensure continued success of projects
- Coordinate with owners, contractors, and design consultants to develop comprehensive and consistent construction documents
- Construction assistance including answering contractor’s RFIs, reviewing material submittals, project site visits and regular meetings with the contractor and owner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Ideally four (4) or more years of related expertise managing similar projects
- Texas Professional Engineering License a plus
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
- Bachelors or Masters in the field of Civil Engineering
- Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer certification (or tracking towards)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
