Job Details:
My client is a well-known, award-winning restaurant looking for a highly motivated, experienced restaurant manager who can work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment!
DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
- Maintaining safety and food quality standards
- Organizing schedules, keeping track of employees’ hours, and processing/recording payroll data
- Ordering food, linens, china/silverware, and other supplies while staying within budget.
- Supervising daily shift operations
- Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed
- Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
- Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
- Interviewing, recruiting, and training new employees
- Interacting with guests to get feedback about their experience.
- Able to handle guest complaints and rectify any guest situation that may arise.
- Ensuring all criteria on the BEO are met according to guest/clients event specifications/expectations.
- Exceed all guest/client expectations to ensure guest/client satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Customer service mindset
- Hospitality or business degree- not required but a huge plus!
- Food and Beverage operations experience is required.
- Open and full availability
- A team player- can work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
