AV Technical Support Specialist - New York, NY
Role:
You will be responsible for assisting with the set-up, operation, and technical support of audiovisual equipment for events, meetings, presentations, and conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment such as projectors, microphones, sound systems, and video conferencing equipment.
- Provide technical support to presenters and users of audiovisual equipment to ensure smooth operation during events and meetings.
- Coordinate with event organizers, clients, and other staff to determine audiovisual needs and requirements for each event.
- Maintain and update audiovisual equipment inventory and maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Assist with video recording and editing for events and presentations.
- Train staff and users on how to operate audiovisual equipment effectively.
- Assist with the design and installation of audiovisual systems in meeting rooms, conference rooms, and other event spaces.
Qualifications:
- Technical training or certification in audiovisual technology preferred.
- MUST HAVE law firm experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience operating audiovisual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, microphones, and video conferencing equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support events and meetings.
- Ability to lift and move heavy audiovisual equipment.
- Knowledge of video editing software and techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with networking and IT systems integration is a plus.
Compensation:
$75-95k + Discretionary bonus
