Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field of study
- Minimum of 5 years managerial experience in a heavy industry like ship building, waste to energy plants, primary metal factories, mining, mineral or ore processing, or chemical production.
- Strategic leadership background relating to safety, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance planning, and the development of personnel.
- Experience managing a union workforce preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prior budgetary responsibilities.
- Proficiency with an enterprise ERP and CMMs systems.
