Job Details:
Reputable client seeks process controls technician to support hardware and software implementation of PLC control systems for a Chemical production facility:
- 5+ years experience with industrial controls system
- PLC, AutoCAD and RSLogix 500 / 5000 experience and building HMIs
- Low voltage and controls hardware troubleshooting experience
- Field devices including thermocouples, RTD's pressure transmitters, flow transmitters and level transmitters
- Understanding control cabinet design
- Experience with industrial ethernet/fiberoptic networks
- Ability to travel to Michigan at times
- Specifying PLC hardware and software
- Programming PLC controls associated with new automation to support capital projects and continuous improvement automation initiatives
- Creating engineering drawings and documentation, assisting with PSM compliance activities, and training operators.
