Lead Commercial Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Supermarket Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute routine maintenance, planned service contracts, and emergency service work independently or with apprentice assistance
- Prepare service reports and provide recommendations for client facility service and equipment replacement
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial/industrial refrigeration systems, including control systems
- Utilize tablet-based service ticket software for daily work orders
- Maintain accurate time and work order reports and communicate with Service Supervisors and Managers to resolve issues
- Ensure a professional appearance and excellent customer service while working at client facilities
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- High School Diploma, technical/trade school certificate in refrigeration preferred
- Commercial refrigeration experience, preferably in supermarkets
- Strong customer service skills and a desire to learn and grow in the refrigeration service field
- Ability to travel up to 90% locally with a company-provided vehicle
- EPA certification, OSHA 10-hour certification, and valid driver's license required
- Willingness to operate a lull, scissor lift, and forklift truck (training provided)
