Tax Manager (Real estate partnership )
The Tax Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, implementing effective tax strategies, and optimizing the financial performance of the organization.
Candidate must haves:
- Real estate partnership
- Advanced Excel skills
- High energy, willing to work
- Need general knowledge of partnerships
- 3-4 days in the Conshohocken office each week – I think it’ll likely be 3
First year objectives:
- Help with projections and start to call that file their own
- Personal rules for IRS
General notes about the job:
- A lot of processing – work papers that go over to the public firms that prepare our returns – managing that flow, managing and reviewing the tax returns that come in, dealing with any tax issues that we have
- Projections in Excel – personal income derived from all of our entities – 5 years (depreciation, net income, escalations, etc.)
- Learning the SVP of Tax and Accounting job – dealing with public accounting tax professionals, organizing timing of reviews, review and sign off on tax returns and getting signatures over to the owner – January through August
Ideal growth path is for them to grow and take over SVP of Tax and Accounting job in 5 years
