Senior Accountant
$80k-95k
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting process, from financial transactions to financial reporting and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support for business operations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify potential errors or discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Participate in financial projects and initiatives as required.
